Candle care and safety tips:

Never leave a burning candle unattended. When burning the first time, 8oz jars should burn for at least 2-3 hours. Dough bowls should burn until the wax completely melts to the edges. This will prevent tunneling. Trim your wick before your next burn. Once a candle has burns down to less than 1/2 inch, extinguish it and do not use again. The heat from the flame could burn against the metal part of the wick, which can cause the jar to get hot and crack. Keep candles away from children and pets. Burn candles in a well ventilated area. When burning, candle should be placed on a stable and heat resistant surface.
